Cabling specialist focuses on the new PerCONNECT® solution and comprehensive services in Hall 9, Stand B71

 

Augsburg, 7th February 2018 – „Keep it simple, but smart“ – Rosenberger Optical Solutions & Infrastructure (Rosenberger OSI), manufacturer of innovative cabling infrastructures based on fiber optics, presents its solution portfolio PerCONNECT® for efficient building cabling management at this year’s Light + Building in Hall 9, Stand B71. With regard to hardware, the Rosenberger OSI solution is based on a one-sided pre-assembly of the cables, forward-looking network planning, and rapid on-site installation by Rosenberger OSI experts or qualified partners. The fair will take place in Frankfurt from 18 to 23 March.

Modern system solution for buildings and offices
Within the scope of this solution, one-sided pre-assembled fiber optic solutions and copper-based cables are offered, although the innovative focus is placed on optical fiber. “The reason is that optical fiber technology has virtually unlimited transmission capacities and is therefore absolutely future-proof. Only the last few meters to the end user are made of copper,” says the managing director Thomas Schmidt. As a result of this, the optical fiber backbone, which only needs to be laid once, can provide the flexible performance needed by the supply infrastructure of a building complex for many years to come.
